As part of the recruiting process, your skills will be assessed before you will be allowed in our clan. Unlike many clans, skills
are not limited to your playing abilities. Your socialability, maturity, personality, and, of course, gaming abilities play an important role in
our decision. We highly recommend that you come by our chatroom (#hlo on GameSurge.net) and game server as often as possible so that we may get to know you better.

Your abilities will be tested in a variety of ways. As mentioned above, we value much more in a player beyond their skills in the game. Maturity, sense of
dedication, etc. are all key factors in our decision. Given this, we strongly invite you to play with us regularly on our server, and chat with us on our forums
or chatroom. After a period of at least a week of regular play, you will be invited to attend a scheduled tryout.
Our tryout process is fairly rigorous in that you will be asked to play a solo game against 5 [hLo] members, while being observed and recorded by
at least one spectator. The goal is not for you to win every round, or to even come close, but rather for us to test your response to a multitude of combat
situations. This session will last for about 30-60 minutes.
After your tryout has concluded, our team will convene privately to discuss the outcome and notify you of the results.
