Given the lack of updates over the last year, this post barely requires submission, but for the sake of completeness, I'll publish it anyway. This was a very fun ride, and we came close to rebuilding to the size we were at long ago, but alas, life gets busy and priorities change. So, again and possibly for the last time, the team is hereby disbanded.
The server will probably not be renewed at the end of this year, but I will likely retain this site for old time's sake. Perhaps a day will come when the [hLo] tag lives again, but for now it will remain dormant.
Thanks to all who participated in this last run -- we had a good time. |

Although we took a lengthy hiatus, we are still around, and still kicking. Should be resuming frequent gaming nights like we used to. Tonight was the first time in awhile that we all got together, and it ended up being a pretty good show. Looking forward to getting back into the swing of things, and picking up a few new names on the roster.
Let's keep it rolling, fellas.
PS: I should also mention that the stats server expired a number of data points we had from before. Time to rebuild :). |

If you glance at the menu on the left, you'll notice a new addition "Server Stats". The Mani stats plugin leaves a bit to be desired in terms of a robust statistics tracker. So I've switched things up a bit to use HLstatsX.
Keep an eye on the Server boards in the Forum section for details about how we'll manage these stats. It's possible we may grant basic admin rights to regulars to the server -- stay tuned! |

You'll notice another new name on the roster, Jester. He completed his tryout this past Monday, and is the latest addition to our team. Welcome to the group, Jester.
Unfortunately this post comes a little bittersweet in that I've been forced to create a new (temporary) rank: Inactive. Unless otherwise discussed, members in this rank will be removed from the roster after 30 days of inactivity.
Nevertheless, we are still actively recruiting. If you are interested in joining the team, please visit us on our server and fill out the Join form. |

As was made pretty clear a week or so ago, we were in need of a Ventrilo server. And thus, it was provided.
Server: vent11.gameservers.com
Port: 4590
The server consists of both public and private rooms. Members may contact me for further details about the private room. The public room is of course open to everyone, but if the server is filled, users will be auto-kicked to make room for [hLo] members. |

A couple things in this long-awaited news post...
We've set a new schedule -- a little more loose than the previous one, but wider coverage. Rather than trying to get everyone together two nights a week, we'll aim for open play/practice every day at 10:00 PM Eastern. Obviously the idea is that people will attend as often as they can, but it should help get everyone together more frequently. Ideally this'll also attract visitors to come to our server more often too :).
And speaking of the server...we've moved it to a new location, and subsequently a new IP address. It now resides closer to home in Atlanta, GA. The new IP address is: 63.211.111.4:27015. |

New Members. New Server. New Forums. Now we have a new website. After almost 6 years, I figured it was time for a facelift. Nothing functionally has changed, but the site now has a new look to it. |

Well, I got tired of maintaining the custom forum script. Maybe it'll come back someday, but for now, I switched over to a different, more widely used script. Those who've already registered will need to re-register. |
